The cannabis plant contains hundreds of organic compounds. The most common are the “cannabinoids” THC and CBD. Both of these cannabinoids interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system, but they have very different effects. THC produces a high or sense of euphoria. CBD does not get you high.

Some studies have concluded that cannabis can induce a “subtle hangover” in certain people. However, according to Healthline, “There isn’t much evidence surrounding weed hangovers. Existing studies are often outdated or have major limitations.” Personally, while we at Deep Desert have all experienced nasty hangovers from alcohol consumption, we have not experienced hangovers from consuming cannabis.

That depends. Similar to drinking alcohol, there are many factors that contribute to how high you will get from THC including your own tolerance level for THC. We realize that many people don’t want to get over-the-top high so we produce our beverages with fairly small amounts of THC per serving. A full serving of Deep Desert is 5 mg of THC. If you’re new to Deep Desert, we suggest that you start with half a serving, 2.5 mg of THC. Wait at least an hour before having another serving.

Our drinks contain a proprietary THC nanoemulsion made from California-grown cannabis. Nanoemulsification is a technology that reduces THC oil to microscopic water-soluble particles. These THC particles are very quickly absorbed in your mouth and stomach as you drink Deep Desert, allowing for the onset of the Deep Desert magic to be more readily experienced. You might feel that Deep Desert magic in as little as 5 minutes or it might take a bit longer.

We formulated “Chill” to provide you with a very relaxing high for those times when you want to just chill out. To do this, we add Suntheanine® to “Chill.” Suntheanine® is a high-purity form of L-theanine that occurs naturally in tea; for centuries, it’s been revered for its ability to boost brain function and promote a relaxed, yet alert state.

We formulated “Spark” to provide you with an energetic high. “Spark” contains a bit of naturally occurring caffeine because we add green tea extract to our “Spark” drinks. Green tea extract has also been shown to have health benefits mostly due to its high antioxidant content.

Generally, the high from Deep Desert will last longer than the high from smoking or vaping cannabis. The effects of smoking or vaping cannabis last about 1–4 hours while the effects of Deep Desert last about 2–4 hours.

Some separation of our beverages’ natural colors and THC nanoemulsion is common and natural. For the best experience with our beverages, we suggest giving Deep Desert bottles a quick shake before using.

We follow our robust standard operating procedures for each batch of Deep Desert to ensure that our drinks are reliably and consistently produced. We also test every batch of our drinks for contaminants and THC content to make certain that our drinks are safe and the THC content shown on each package is as accurate as possible.

For now, no. State law only allows us to sell Deep Desert in California. To buy Deep Desert you need to be in California and have your government-issued identification to prove that you are 21 or older.
