What is the difference between THC and CBD?

The cannabis plant contains hundreds of organic compounds. The most common are the “cannabinoids” THC and CBD. Both of these cannabinoids interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system, but they have very different effects. THC produces a high or sense of euphoria. CBD does not get you high.

Will consuming cannabis give me a hangover?

Some studies have concluded that cannabis can induce a “subtle hangover” in certain people. However, according to Healthline, “There isn’t much evidence surrounding weed hangovers. Existing studies are often outdated or have major limitations.” Personally, while we at Deep Desert have all experienced nasty hangovers from alcohol consumption, we have not experienced hangovers from consuming cannabis.

Can I overdose on cannabis?

No. While we have no doubt that some folks have done some really dumb things while high on cannabis that resulted in injury to themselves and/or others, there is no scientific evidence showing that anyone has ever died from merely consuming cannabis.

Is it ok to consume cannabis while taking medication?

Many people do for sure. We suggest that you check with your doctor.

How much Deep Desert should I drink?

That depends. Similar to drinking alcohol, there are many factors that contribute to how high you will get from THC including your own tolerance level for THC. We realize that many people don’t want to get over-the-top high so we produce our beverages with fairly small amounts of THC per serving. A full serving of Deep Desert is 5 mg of THC. If you’re new to Deep Desert, we suggest that you start with half a serving, 2.5 mg of THC. Wait at least an hour before having another serving.

How long will it take to feel the effects of Deep Desert?

Our drinks contain a proprietary THC nanoemulsion made from California-grown cannabis. Nanoemulsification is a technology that reduces THC oil to microscopic water-soluble particles. These THC particles are very quickly absorbed in your mouth and stomach as you drink Deep Desert, allowing for the onset of the Deep Desert magic to be more readily experienced. You might feel that Deep Desert magic in as little as 5 minutes or it might take a bit longer.

What is the difference between “Chill” and “Spark”?

We formulated “Chill” to provide you with a very relaxing high for those times when you want to just chill out. To do this, we add Suntheanine® to “Chill.” Suntheanine® is a high-purity form of L-theanine that occurs naturally in tea; for centuries, it’s been revered for its ability to boost brain function and promote a relaxed, yet alert state.

We formulated “Spark” to provide you with an energetic high. “Spark” contains a bit of naturally occurring caffeine because we add green tea extract to our “Spark” drinks. Green tea extract has also been shown to have health benefits mostly due to its high antioxidant content.

How long will Deep Desert affect me?

Generally, the high from Deep Desert will last longer than the high from smoking or vaping cannabis. The effects of smoking or vaping cannabis last about 1–4 hours while the effects of Deep Desert last about 2–4 hours.

Does Deep Desert need to be refrigerated?

Deep Desert does not require refrigeration before or after opening. We think Deep Desert tastes best chilled, so we keep our Deep Desert in the refrigerator. But we don’t keep Deep Desert in the freezer – the bottle could break!

Should I shake Deep Desert bottles before using?

Some separation of our beverages’ natural colors and THC nanoemulsion is common and natural. For the best experience with our beverages, we suggest giving Deep Desert bottles a quick shake before using.

I have food allergies. Is it ok for me to drink Deep Desert?

You should read our ingredient labels before drinking Deep Desert just to be sure. But we are careful to assure that no allergens or contaminants from other foods are introduced by us in producing our drinks.

Does Deep Desert taste or smell like cannabis?

No. We spent a lot of money making sure that it doesn’t. With a refreshingly unique flavor, you’ll find hints of fruit and botanical flavors but no cannabis taste or odor.

Lotus Flower…What’s that?

Lotus flowers are considered sacred in many parts of the world. In Eastern cultures they are symbolically associated with rebirth and the journey toward spiritual enlightenment. The essence of the flower has been used for centuries for its mystical and therapeutic properties. We added a bit of the essence to Deep Desert to help you be more balanced emotionally and to help you find spiritual wellness. Enjoy!

How do I know how much THC is in your drinks?

We follow our robust standard operating procedures for each batch of Deep Desert to ensure that our drinks are reliably and consistently produced. We also test every batch of our drinks for contaminants and THC content to make certain that our drinks are safe and the THC content shown on each package is as accurate as possible.
